Well, Axis had finally released their second album “Maaf Gara” few months back but that doesn’t mean the boys are resting around after years of hard work. The band, like many other artists these days, is currently working on the original music score of an upcoming movie. We may have said this before and we’ll say it again. Good to know our cinema productions are taking help from contemporary individual artists. Yes we can definitely hope for some positive changes in the music being featured in our Nepali movies. Anyway getting back to the “Adhuro Prem” hitmakers, the new set, consisting of nine songs, is said to be doing pretty well with good response flowing in. Its first music video for the title track is already out and if you are looking forward to their second video then, good news! It’s going to be for the single “Muskaan” and you can expect it to be out real soon!!
Apart from studio productions, Axis are also busy with numerous stage shows. One of them is happening this very Feb 12th in Chitwan. Noticing the date, you probably get some other idea but fortunately or unfortunately, it's not because of the nearing Valentine's Day. Well, the concert is taking place on the occasion of Shiva Ratri. Oh yeah....great music accompanied by ahem....the drug considered religiously sacred on that day...The program is called Green Life Narayanghat Rocks ver-3:Music for Peace, Shanti Ko Lagi Sangeet and it's been organized by BrightNepal.com.
On the day of Shiva Ratri, Axis along with Pokhreli band Edge and many other local bands from Chitwan will be rocking the district – best known for its amazing wildlife. We think it's an absolutely awesome way to celebrate the special occasion. So if you can make it, why not! Enjoy the performances and also...maybe with some you know what...
