According to Rishikesh Dhugel, under secretary at MoI, the set ceiling budget for MoI for the next fiscal year represents an increment of 7.5
percent compared to the budget allocation in the current fiscal year.
He also said that there are some 12 projects including its department expenditures to be covered with the set budget allocation by the NPC.
MoI is continuing with the same regular projects in the next fiscal year on which five are under priority-1 and seven are under priority-2, he added.
He also said that there are no new projects in the coming fiscal year.
Environment Sector Program Supports (ESPS), Mineral Exploration and Research Project, Petroleum Exploration Project, Geo-Scientific Survey and Research Project, Cottage and Small Industries Training Program, Cottage and Small Industries Training Center, Industrial Promotion Project, Special Economic Zones (SEZs) among others ongoing projects are given priority in the coming fiscal year with the set budget for 2010/11.
